Overview

Are you ready to make a difference as a Personal Banker (Member Solutions Specialist) and elevate our members’ experience by delivering exceptional service?This exciting opportunity empowers you to maximize member engagement by providing a range of product options. You will directly assist members in opening new accounts, offering credit card products, Money Market / CD accounts, consumer loans, and mortgage loans. We’re united in our mission to help uplift each other, our members, and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Offer best-in-class service to our members through prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional interactions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in our products and services offerings, new accounts, and consumer lending processes.
• Assist members with complex financial transactions and accounts and ensure their needs are met through proactive follow-up and resolution.
• Build our members' financial health through conducting thorough consumer loans, home loans, and new account interviews using available tools to uncover financial needs and submit applications as needed.
• Advise our members in the areas of debt management, credit advancement, mortgages, and overall financial well-being.
• Engage members in an in-depth financial health evaluation using available tools to recommend and open appropriate products and services.
• Support community relationships on an as-needed basis
• Adopt new and existing tools that will enhance the member experience and consultation process.
• Advocate member adoption of new technology, campaigns, promotions, and digital products.
• Partner with our internal experts to recommend products and services to our members so they can achieve financial freedom.
• Be a resource to train new and existing team members as needed
• Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.

Assess risk associated with your business processes and identifying control deficiencies to drive the company compliance and risk mindset and business performance.
