Position Overview:
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in addressing patients' mental health needs in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing evaluation and assessment for patients with mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
- Attends all site and organizational meetings and maintains a physical presence in the assigned administration office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- State of Ohio licensure and nursing degree (APRN degree) and completion of an accredited Master's program.
- Board eligible/certified
- DEA
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in mental health
