**This is a remote position, but the successful candidate should live within driving distance to any one of our sites across Montana or Wyoming. Occasional travel to the clinic site(s) may be required.**
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Coding Manager to lead our coding department. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our coding processes, compliance, and education. COMPENSATION: $58,215.35-$60,320 yearly/DOE
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time
AVAILABILITY: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the coding department, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of claims.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the coding team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct audits and reviews of coding processes to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Serve as a resource for healthcare providers and staff on coding issues, offering guidance and solutions.
- Collaborate with the billing team to address insurance billing and claim denials.
- Develop and present educational tools and procedures for coders and providers.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or in lieu degree, of eight (8) years’ experience or a combination of associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience
- AHIMA (CCS) or AAPC (CPC) Coding certification.
- Minimum of three years of experience in outpatient coding.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Valid Driver License
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
