This position is to support Bozeman, Belgrade and Livingston (West) Region.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Directors provide upper-level/strategic management for a One Health organizational unit (an “organizational unit” is either a region comprising multiple service locations and patient-facing service lines; or a single business service line supporting the entire organization). Directors are highly skilled employees who provide both expertise and knowledge within a given field as well as foundational leadership skills and direction for those working under their supervision. This individual exercises independent decision-making in conjunction with an assigned Associate Vice President, and actively manages employees and programs in both clinical and business service lines within One Health. Generally, directors understand and guide implementation of the day-to-day activities at one or several One Health locations, while also future casting and implementing growth activities within assigned service lines or locations.
COMPENSATION: $91,638.50 - $95,718.00 (RN), $85,357.00 - $87,607.00 (LPN)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Director Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads, coaches, and develops other individuals with supervisory responsibility and helps navigate career pathways at One Health
- Provides oversight to an entire organizational unit.
- Maintains global awareness of organizational unit employees, including approving reimbursements and appropriate expenses (according to procurement policy).
- Contributes specialized knowledge and skills to the work of leading their unit while exercising authority to use independent decision-making and judgment.
- Provides general oversight of day-to-day management of all operations at assigned organizational unit and sets direction and tone for all One Health locations and employees.
- Assumes responsibility for innovation, implementation, development, and growth of leadership approved activities within their organizational unit.
- Contributes to development of organizational policy, procedure, and guidelines.
- Assists supervisors and/or managers of local clinical or administrative sites to foster accountability by encouraging adherence to employment expectations and organizational policy.
- Fosters and promotes organizational culture and norms throughout the assigned unit.
- Ensures that local leaders promote healthy morale among their staff through positive behavioral reinforcement and recognition.
- Provides oversight to hiring within the organizational unit, ensuring that optimal staffing ratios are maintained and that quality staff are placed in positions where they can be most effective.
- Models leadership qualities by instilling trust, providing clear communication, and actively building relationships across organizational units
- Regularly attends meetings of Directors and other leadership groups, as assigned.
Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes a clinical environment focused on best practice, top of the license practice and interprofessional collaboration and teamwork.
- Provides guidance and oversees the implementation of clinical initiatives employing evidence-based models to improve clinical care and enhanced health outcomes.
- Works in partnership with all Regional Clinic Directors and Clinic AVPs to develop and maintain an effective nursing and medical assistant scope of practice, orientation, and training curriculum with associated core competencies.
- Collaborates with Clinic Manager/Supervisor, Regional Medical Director, Behavioral Health Clinic Manager, and Intake Manager to optimize workflows, operational processes, and overall functioning of clinic sites.
- Partners with the Quality Team and Clinic Manager/Supervisor to ensure clinic staff compliance, engagement, and performance with PCMH elements/standards, continuous improvement in UDS metrics, and process improvement activities.
- Remains informed of current CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) requirements, ensures all clinics are compliant, maintains current CLIA waivers, and provides training as needed.
- Ensures compliance with and maintains knowledge of state and federal laws and regulatory requirements applicable to the clinical setting such as the VFC program, HRSA Compliance/Site Visit Manual, HIPAA, safety/risk management, emergency preparedness, standards of care, OSHA, infection prevention standards, and scope of clinical practice.
- Establishes, administers, and maintains nursing and clinical operations policies and procedures, workflows, and guidelines that encompasses all aspects of departmental functions to ensure current, consistent references for staff and to guarantee the alignment of clinical services across site operations.
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in committees, projects, or teams to promote the strategic and operational goals of the department and One Health.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates financial and statistical information and utilization reports with Clinic AVP and Clinic Managers/Supervisors, and ensures that necessary adjustments are executed to stay within budget parameters and to meet performance goals.
- Exemplifies a patient-centered care approach to each patient along each stage of the patient journey, while working as a key patient centered team member by communicating individual patient care needs to support the needs of patients served.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certificates/Licenses:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse OR a combination of an Associate degreed Registered Nurse and four (4) years of nursing experience OR a certified Licensed Practical Nurse and five (5) years of nursing experience
- Unencumbered nursing license OR the ability to attain needed licensure upon hire.
- Valid driver’s license
Experience:
Required
- Four (4) years of experience in clinical operations OR three (3) years of experience at One Health in a clinical setting
- Two (2) years’ experience in direct supervision of employees OR two (2) years clinical license that requires in-direct supervision of clinical staff (MA, LPN, RN)
Preferred
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience over mid-level managers
