Position: Patient Financial Counselor
Type: Full-time
Location: Bozeman, Belgrade or Livingston Site
Salary: $17.99-$18.35

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate: Guide patients on One Health services and direct them to appropriate resources.
- Assist: Help patients with financial concerns, including bills, payment plans, sliding fee discount program (SFDP) and collections.
- Process: Manage Sliding Fee Discount Program (SFDP) applications and ensure compliance.
- Counsel: Act as a financial advisor for patients with outstanding balances.
- Liaise: Connect patients with insurance and social programs.
- Communicate: Answer patient billing questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate: Work with the team to meet patient needs and organizational goals.
- Maintain: Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's License
- Experience: Proficient computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in healthcare or community service is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
