One Hiring is proudly partnering with an ambitious and growing mid-tier Accounting firm. They are looking to hire an Audit Senior with a generalist background across multiple industries.
As a Audit Senior, you will:
- Leading client meetings to establish engagement timelines, objectives, and expectations.
- Conducting audits, reviews, or compilations for clients.
- Managing all stages of an engagement, including preparing workpapers, drafting financial statements, and generating reports.
- Preparing and analyzing trial balances, detailed financial statements, and audit reports using audit software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Reconciling accounting data with control accounts.
- Conducting fraud interviews with CEOs, accountants, and other employees when required.
- Reviewing staff work, completing high-risk audit sections, and drafting financial statements.
- Providing financial insights at the conclusion of fieldwork to help clients enhance internal controls and accounting processes.
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify and resolve client issues.
- Coordinating tasks and deadlines to ensure client requirements are met within the agreed timeline.
- Training team members on audit procedures and delegating work based on skills and availability.
You will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA Advantageous
- 2-3 years experience in public accounting.
