What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at One Hope United?
Seeking a Clinical Supervisor with strong mental health clinical training and experience to lead a team of 3-4 therapists in implementing clinical knowledge and protocol. Under the Director of Programs, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the delivery of clinical services in assigned program in accordance to program guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviews intake information of clients referred for services and determines if the referral will be accepted
- Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case planning
- Provides weekly supervision on all clients utliling the ARC model
- Reviews all written documents generated by staff
- Attends court hearings, case reviews, staffing, and meetings as needed
- Reviews funding source policies and procedures and trains staff on the implementation of these procedures
- Works with staff to ensure permanency for clients
- Ensures that the required documents are in case file
- Ensures that staff handles significant incidents in a prompt and effective manner
- Participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and to network with the community
- Completes various outcome reports as required
- Participates in required meeting and trainings with funding source
- Provides staff with training, education, and ongoing supervision and support
- Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints
- Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source
- Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private contracts when necessary
- Handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances
- Conducts regular unit meetings with staff
- Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and market our services
- Participates in agency management meetings and work groups
- Assists CQI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures
- Works with CQI to ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome goals
- Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff
- Manages a 24-hour response system, which may be for referral intake and/or client emergencies
- Manages case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the funding source
- Ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month
- Ensures staff at all levels are closely monitoring child and client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by, a client
- Completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education Requirement:
- Master’s degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area along with significant clinical experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth and supervisory experience preferred.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years clinical therapy experience.
License:
- Hold your LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or is eligible for licensure.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Word Processing software, email, and internet applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate programs and projects well
- Ability to problem solve in a timely manner and analyze information effectively
- Ability to respond promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve services
