This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our HVAC company and contribute to our continued success. The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met while implementing the policies and procedures of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. The GM will manage, guide, and set profit margin and service expectations for all managers, supervisors, and field staff while ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of HVAC services and products.Responsibilities : Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's operations while reporting to the CEODevelop and implement operational policies and proceduresEnsure efficient use of resources and effective workforce managementMonitor and analyze operational performance and productivityDevelop and implement best operational practices to achieve budget gross margins. Oversee branch spending to include labor, vendor agreements, inventory, and fleetOversee safety compliance to include employee training, safety tracking, and employee compliance assessmentsMaintain compliance of licensing, permitting, and code requirements including OSHAManage and develop service staff to include recruiting, hiring, termination, discipline, scheduling, conducting staff meetings, evaluating performance, and directing work assignmentsEvaluate workloads and personnel schedules to maximize efficiency in achieving profit and customer satisfaction objectivesProvide coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical and communication training to all subordinatesReview service paperwork and ensure all field personnel adhere to procedural standardsConduct job site surveys, field personnel ride-alongs, and work evaluationsAssist dispatching operation in ensuring appropriate technician selection for the type of serviceEffectively manage conflict resolution with clientsAlways maintain a professional image by : Wearing only company approved and provided One Hour apparel in the fieldAbiding by All One Hour standards of performance and code of ethicsMaintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associatesRequirements : Must have a minimum of 5 years proven work experience as an Operations and or General Manager or similar roleMust have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable managerial, technical, and sales experience in HVACKnowledge of the fundamentals of operational functionality of residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and current HVAC productsMust be familiar and able to work with Service Titan software, iPads, Mac Books, Microsoft Word and Excel or Apple versionsKnowledge of the layout, installation, and service requirements for residential and light commercial HVACConsistent track record of meeting / exceeding annual revenue goals, sales experience is a major plusAbility to understand effects of economic, financial, and market conditions on the businessExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
