About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Stamford, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our HVAC company and contribute to our continued success. The Operations Manager(OM) will be responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met while implementing the policies and procedures of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. The OM will manage, guide, and set profit margin and service expectations for all managers, supervisors and field staff while ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of HVAC services and products.
Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's operationsDevelop and implement operational policies and proceduresEnsure efficient use of resources and effective workforce managementMonitor and analyze operational performance and productivityDevelops and implements best operational practices to achieve budget gross margins. Oversees branch spending to include labor, vendor agreements, inventory, and fleetOversees safety compliance to include employee training, safety tracking, and employee compliance assessmentsMaintains compliance of licensing, permitting, and code requirements including OSHAManages and develops service staff to include recruiting, hiring, termination, discipline, scheduling, conducting staff meetings, evaluating performance, and directing work assignmentsEvaluates workloads and personnel schedules to maximize efficiency in achieving profit and customer satisfaction objectivesProvides coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical and communication training to all subordinatesReviews service paperwork and ensures all field personnel adhere to procedural standardsConducts job site surveys, field personnel ride-alongs, and work evaluationsAssists dispatching operation in ensuring appropriate technician selection for the type of serviceEffectively manages conflict resolution with clientsAlways maintains a professional image by :Wearing only company approved and provided One Hour apparel in the field

Must have a minimum of 5 years proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar roleMust have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable managerial, technical, and sales experience in HVACKnowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and current HVAC productsMust be familiar and be able to work with Service Titan software, iPads, Mac Books, Microsoft Word and Excel or Apple versionsKnowledge of the layout, installation, and service requirements for residential and light commercial HVACConsistent track record of meeting / exceeding annual revenue goals, sales experience is a major plusAbility to understand effects of economic, financial, and market conditions on the businessExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of local codes and permitting requirementsKnowledge of industry regulations and quality standardsStrong organizational and leadership abilitiesBachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field, and or GED or HVAC Technical School GraduateEPA and NATE CertificationExtended work hours to include day and / or evening shifts when neededAbility to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairsWork assignments may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation to a known disabilityAbout Us :

Compensation : $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
