Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Release Training Engineer with extensive experience in Agile methodologies to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth release processes by training teams, enabling continuous delivery practices, and fostering an Agile mindset across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize release cycles, ensure best practices are followed, and drive organizational success in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs for release management, focusing on Agile principles, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to refine release processes and ensure alignment with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
- Develop and maintain training materials, workshops, and guides tailored to the needs of various teams.
- Support teams in creating and maintaining release roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies related to release planning, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Monitor and analyze release performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Act as a coach and mentor for team members and leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate emerging best practices into training and release processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in release management within an Agile environment.
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban, with relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, including engineering, QA, and product management teams.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
