Security/Facilities Coordinator

Security/Facilities Coordinator We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team that is willing to work in a Warehouse/Distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly. Responsibilities Making sure all doors are locked and alarm is set properly by end of day Monitor all security cameras for safety & keep record of any abnormal activity Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems to ensure safety compliance. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and security within the facility. Collaborate with management in communicating and providing detailed reports of any incidents. Making sure all fire extinguishers are visible and up to code (date) Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud activities. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference. Logging in all deliveries/drivers going in and/out of the premises Check in and Check out all employees through the metal detector and monitor the CCTV for levels and or any discrepancy Operates and maintains custodial functions, keeping supplies in order water supplies, etc. Contacting the following when needed: Water Company(supplies) Compact Company Trash Company(Pick-up once a week) Alarm Company(when needed) HVAC Company Pest Control Company All other duties as assigned Skills Conflict management skills to effectively handle difficult situations. Basic knowledge of loss prevention strategies to protect company assets. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in emergency situation.
