Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule in various weather conditions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each dog in your care
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation through play and interaction
- Follow specific instructions regarding each dog's care and behavior
- Maintain cleanliness during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Report any health or behavioral concerns to the pet owner
Experience:
The following skills are either required or nice-to-have for this role:
- Experience in animal care or handling, particularly with dogs
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina for walking long distances and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with pet first aid or willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or related field is a plus
