Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at One Medical. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality venipuncture services to patients of all ages
- Assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Contribute to team development through active participation in huddles, problem-solving, and supporting providers with ad hoc asks
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
- Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program or completed relevant training by any branch of the armed forces
- Strong customer service skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
