**Role Overview**
The Urgent Care Provider will be a key member of our clinical team, working in a dynamic primary care setting to provide high-quality patient care.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine urgent care with primary care, leveraging your skills and expertise to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
As an Urgent Care Provider, you'll be responsible for:
• Managing patients' acute care concerns in a primary care setting
• Combining urgent care with primary care to deliver a blended experience
• Managing common concerns and procedures, such as STI diagnosis and treatment, staple removal, suture removal, pelvic exams, I&Ds, IVs, nebulizer treatment, URIs, coughs, bronchitis, UTIs, chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatry screening and stabilization, etc.
• Maintaining evidence-based and current knowledge as it relates to urgent care practice and procedures
• Documenting physical exam, procedures and in-office medications/prescriptions
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Experience practicing at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0 )
• OR have completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program in the last 5 years
