The Opportunity
You'll provide an exceptional experience for our patients and help them accomplish their care journey as a Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist at one of our offices focused on Senior Health (age 65 ).
You will be an ambassador for patients, mastering human connection and strong service drive. You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a truly exceptional in-office patient experience.
You are a strong team player and use innovative problem-solving skills to tackle various tasks and challenges. You combine excellent specimen collection technique with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with your patients.
What you'll likely work on:
- Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions, ensuring a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, same day schedule management, and follow-up scheduling.
- Provide best-in-class venipuncture services on a population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, depending on the office location.
- Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
- Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.

What you'll need:
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
- Strong customer service skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
This is a full-time role with 8 hour shifts generally taking place between 8am-5pm based in Decatur, GA at one of our offices presently focused on our Senior Health member population (age 65 ). We offer a robust benefits package designed to aid your health and wellness.
