Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Occupational Health Physician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive physical exams and diagnostic tests to identify medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans
- Providing routine check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings to ensure optimal patient health
- Managing acute and chronic illnesses, including treating patients with complex medical conditions
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and develop treatment plans
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements through ongoing education and training
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal, Family, or Occupational Medicine, or Board Eligibility with plans to obtain board certification within one year of hire
- State licensure in California, obtained before hire date
- Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Internal, Family, or Occupational Medicine residency program
- Occupational Health or Workers' Compensation experience required
