Employmenttype :What you'll likely workon :
- Urgent Careproviders are responsible for managing patients' acute careconcerns. This role is a blend of urgent care, but in a primarycare setting
- Common concerns and procedures could include : STIdiagnosis and treatment, staple removal, suture removal, pelvicexams, I&Ds, IVs, nebulizer treatment, URIs, coughs,bronchitis, UTIs, chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatry screeningand stabilization, etc.
- Maintain evidence-based and current knowledge as itrelates to urgent care practice and procedures as well as basicproficiency in primary care topics (hypertension, diabetes,depression / anxiety, etc). Comfortable with initial management ofacute changes in chronic conditions
- Documentation of physical exam, procedures and in-officemedications / prescriptions
- The desire to be an integral part of arapidly growing team of clinicians dedicated to changing healthcaredelivery
- An interest in using technology todeliver high quality, evidence-based care
- Excellent clinicaland communication skills
- Completed anaccredited FNP program or PA program with a nationalcertification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as afull family Advanced Practitioner seeing all ages (0 ), for atleast 2 years in an urgent care setting, OR 1 year in an urgentcare or emergency care setting coupled with 1 year in an outpatientprimary care setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule,including weekends
- Ability to work at least 3 holidays ayear
- Ability to work two full weekends per month (4shifts)
- State licensed in California, obtainedby your One Medical start date

One Medical is committed to fair and equitablecompensation practices.
The base salary rangefor this role is $173,000 - $184,500 based on a full-time schedule.Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors suchas practice experience and patient care schedule.
