Description : Hardworking drivers needed to deliver Amazon packages. All drivers are supplied with Amazon uniforms and operate Amazon-branded delivery Vans.
General Responsibilities :
The driver's main objective is : Prompt, Safe, & Accurate DeliveriesFollow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors to ensure the above-mentioned goal is always metAdhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the roadAlways interact in a positive and professional manner while delivering products to customers' homes, retail stores, and business locationsApply solution-oriented approaches when faced with a customer inquiry, request, or concernKeep the customer informed of delivery progress / status to the best of one's abilityUse handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstaclesSort and prepare delivery routes to assure customer satisfactionEnsure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all timesAssist in training other team members if need beWhere appropriate, non-delivery tasks such as, sortation, may be needed at the Delivery StationTransmit clear and timely communication with the dispatcherReceive and understand communication from the dispatcherQualifications and Skills
Required : All drivers MUST :
Be eligible to work in the U.S.A.Possess a valid driver's licensePossess a clean driving recordPass a drug and alcohol screening testBe at least 21 years of ageBe able to work in a fast-paced environmentHave great customer service skillsHave a positive attitude and be a team player Preferred :Previous delivery experience (i.e. Postmates, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, etc.)Previous transportation experience (i.e. Uber, Lyft, etc.)English (Bilingual is great as well!)Package Delivery Driver Benefits.
