JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to own and manage the system of receiving and distributing inbound and outbound donations to and from OMC's compassion centers, campuses, expansion sites, and national distribution network. The position also maintains appropriate related records and documentation. Additionally, the WLC adds to the OMC donor and distribution portfolio by building relationships, excellent communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain a logistics system of processes and procedures for inbound and outbound gift-in-kind donations.
- Coordinates, monitors, and record inbound gift-in-kind donations to the appropriate OMC compassion center, campus, expansion site, and / or national distribution network partner.
- Record data efficiently and accurately into complex software systems.
- Develop and manage record keeping procedures, maintaining a current inventory of products in an organized system.
- Maintain a current database of gift-in-kind donors.
- Maintain a current database of logistics providers for brokering donations.
- Manage funding and process invoices for direct shipments and brokered donations.
- Assist in finding new gift-in-kind donors and new distribution partners.
- Cultivate relationships with donors and distribution partners through frequent and consistent communication methods.
- Submit reports and appropriate records regularly – weekly, monthly, and yearly, as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned related to the operations areas of OMC.

The employee must be able to use a phone as well as a computer for typing, communicating and data entry. The employee is required to move in unfamiliar environments, walking and standing for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This job requires the ability to work in stressful conditions and remain focused for extended periods of time, depending on the environment. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds (boxes, documents, and / or equipment) may be required, as well as stepping in to drive large vehicles.
