Responsibilities:
As a tutor, your primary role will be to lead personalized one-on-one or small group sessions aligned with our students' specific educational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding students to grasp fundamental concepts outlined in their personalized curriculum binder
- Implementing engaging and effective activities tailored to individual learning styles to enhance retention
- Assisting students in achieving academic milestones set by One on One Learning
- Providing constructive feedback to foster ongoing improvement
Qualifications: We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 60 credit hours towards an Education or college degree
- Demonstrated experience tutoring in Elementary School subjects; preferably in Reading and Math
- Availability to tutor in person during school hours and after school hours, on the school site
- Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
Schedule:
Monday, Thursday, and Friday 1:25pm-4:40pm
Note: This position is part-time at 9 hours 45 minutes per week and can be paired with other positions if available in the area.
Compensation:
$25 per hour
$30 per hour for certified teachers
