The Team Leader is responsible for providing professional and customer focused service and ensuing memorable guest experiences. They will work closely with the Recreation & Leisure team to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the guest expectations. The Team Leader oversees the process involving the personalized fitting, renting and tuning of a variety of winter sports equipment.

Job Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for providing professional and customer focused service and ensuing memorable guest experiences. They will work closely with the Recreation & Leisure team to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the guest expectations. The Team Leader oversees the process involving the personalized fitting, renting and tuning of a variety of winter sports equipment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of recreation attendants
- Create standard operating procedures for the recreation programs
- Assist in budget development and monitoring
- Assist in the develop and implementation safety and facility cleanliness standards
- Ensure rental and tuning practices meet or exceeds national standards
- Ensure recreation equipment is properly utilized and maintained following all suggested maintenance practices and schedules
- Maintain all records related to binding testing and adjustment for liability protection
- Facilitate personalized rentals, from proper equipment selection, boot fitting and binding adjustment with the goal of ensuring guest safety and satisfaction
- Maintain up to date maintenance logs and equipment inventories
- Provide up-to-date condition reports and recommendations for guest
- Regularly tune and repair rental equipment
- Operate resort point of sales and property management systems to properly bill guest
- To assist with any other duties that are required by the Recreation & Leisure management or another member of the Hotel management team
- Assist Recreation & Leisure Manager in rental fleet management and turnover.
- To continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to the Management
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of Big Sky Resort terrain, current ski conditions, and additional program offerings
- Experience in 5*, upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement.
- Must be able to obtain ski manufactures binding certification
- Previous experience with Winterstiger Tune and Repair equipment and Easy Rent software preferred
