Alyzen is looking for a full-time Therapy Medical Physicist based in the McAllen, Texas area. The role will primarily involve monthly onsite travel, with stays lasting a few days depending on workload.

- This position is based in the McAllen, Texas area
- This clinic is equipped with 1 Varian TrueBeam (with a 2nd being installed in the next 6-12 months)
- This facility uses Aria/Eclipse Treatment planning systems
- GE Discovery CT
- Sun Nuclear Equipment - SunScan, 3D Tank, IC Profiler, and SRS Mapcheck

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards and regulation requirements
- Adhere to client and company policies and procedures
- Consult with radiation oncologists and staff
- Perform routine physics services
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable in state and professional regulations
- Willingness to go “above and beyond” for clients and fellow colleagues
- A desire to demonstrate initiative and ownership of daily tasks and projects
- Capable of paying strict attention to detail, thorough, and well-organized

Education and Experience Requirements:
- ABR Certified Medical Physicist or Board Eligible
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics
- Valid State Registration/Approval
- Valid Driver’s License
