We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Operations Coordinator to join our creative and fast-paced interior design team as a 1099 contractor. This role is essential in ensuring our projects run smoothly, from client onboarding to final installation. The ideal candidate will have a background in the furniture or design industry, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a passion for interior design. -Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Administrative Tasks
Serve as the first point of contact for new client inquiries, delivering exceptional service and professionalism.
Manage and send out client contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups.
Assist the owner with administrative tasks, including studio organization and general office needs.
-Order Management & Tracking
Place all furniture orders and double-check designers purchase orders for accuracy.
Maintain an organized spreadsheet to track delivery times and ensure timely installations.
Coordinate with receivers and provide clients with regular updates on their installation schedules.
-Studio & Team Support
Assist with unpacking, organizing, and maintaining the studio materials and inventory.
Help set up conference rooms for client presentations and prepare accessories for installations.
Manage the inventory of studio accessories and supplies.
-Sourcing & Pricing Support
Assist designers by sourcing furniture and materials as needed.
Provide pricing details to support the completion of design projects.
-Social Media & Marketing (Bonus)
Capture videos and photos for social media content.
Collaborate on ideas to showcase projects and promote services on various platforms.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with studio hours of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
Remote work may be available on Fridays.
Flexible scheduling: The contractor may coordinate unpaid time off with advance notice, as long as project deadlines and responsibilities are maintained.

Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years in the furniture or interior design industry.
Strong Communication Skills: Professional, friendly, and empathetic in client and team interactions.
Highly Organized: Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using spreadsheets, project management tools, and inventory systems.
Passion for Design: An appreciation for interior design and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills: Experience in social media content creation or marketing.
