One Power is growing, and we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the development of One Power’s projects within Project Planning and coordinating the development and project rollout across other departments. This position will be within the Project Planning department.

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and lead the development process of Wind for Industry projects and other associated projects within One Power’s business lines from initial conception through project groundbreaking and financing.
• Represent One Power with local officials, 3rd parties, and other stakeholders throughout the project development process.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the development process.
• Assist the state, federal, and local permitting efforts, and approval process for One Power’s projects.
• Control the interface and use of project financial models across departments.
• Assist land acquisition negotiations and relationships.
• Manage and lead the creation of due diligence reports and deliverables for customers and financiers.
• Oversee internal and 3rd party technical engineering and environmental reports and studies to determine project impact and pertinence towards permitting requirements.
• Interface with the Regulatory department to ensure project compliance.
• Oversee the task and time management, training, and mentoring of Analysts and Field Engineers within Project Planning.
• Assist with personnel management within Project Planning.

3 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

The Project Manager will report to the Head of Project Planning. Management duties include personnel needed for specific projects.

4 | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or significant equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of project development experience; direct wind development experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Knowledge of renewable energy financing
• Experience in managing land acquisitions.
• Experience with state and local permitting processes
• Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, Tableau preferred.
