Our client, a leading healthcare organization specializing in diagnostic services, seeks a Territory Sales Manager to drive new business and manage existing relationships across Maryland, DC and Virginia.
This is an individual contributor, hunter sales role which involves selling pathology products and services to healthcare providers, private practices, and specialty medical groups.
Key Details:
- OTE: $250K with uncapped commission
- Travel: 60% within the territory
- Key Focus Areas: Derm, GI and Urology
- Sales Approach: Consultative, revenue-driven, and relationship-focused
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business while maintaining existing accounts
- Develop strategic business plans and consistently meet sales quotas
- Prospect, negotiate agreements, and present compelling value propositions
- Maintain expertise in pathology products and industry trends
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
Requirements:
- 3 years of successful healthcare sales experience (products & services)
- 2 years of pathology/diagnostics/lab services sales experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to develop long-term, profitable relationships
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and strong communication skills
- Ability to learn proprietary software programs quickly
- Customer-focused with a strong work ethic and drive to win business
