One River School of Art Design is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant with experience expanding educational programing in NJ. The role will introduce our innovative art curriculum to K-12 Private and Public Schools, Residential Facilities, After School Programs, Homeschool Associations and other organizations that might benefit from a vibrant art education program. The role is remote, but will require frequent site visits throughout the State. Must live in NJ.

What you will do:
Research potential sites/organizations that would benefit from One River programs
Assist in the development of collateral marketing materials to help promote the programs
Cold call organizations within Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex, Hudson, Union, Middlesex and Monmouth Counties
Schedule site visits and present the One River program to prospective customers throughout your territory
Coordinate with our NJ schools to set up the programs once the sale is made
Hiring and training the talent to service the new contracts
Conduct quality assurance follow up meetings at site locations to ensure repeat business
Report to the COO and CEO on a weekly basis and prepare sales reports as required
Troubleshoot any issues that arise and follow up consistently with potential customers
As a department of one, you will need to be a self-starter, proactive and agile
You will have the opportunity to grow the department as you bring in more and more business - you will be able to hire a coordinator once the first few deals are signed
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years experience selling services in the Educational services field
A demonstrated interest in Visual Arts
Clean current drivers license
Driven and goal oriented
Preferred: Knowledge of NJ Private and Public School Districts
Preferred: Art or Art Education Degree
Compensation:
A generous base salary in the range of $90,000 plus 10% commissions on all sales. OTE range in second year is expected to be $125,000-135,000.
