Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, four year college or university required

Majors in Studio Art, Art History or other visual fine arts majors. Marketing, business and communications minors a plus.

3-5 years experience in a service based sales and customer service role

Strong communication skills required

Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners, staff, remote colleagues and others

Must be able to develop a passion for the One River School brand

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management and e-commerce software

Able to work evenings and weekends

Position Overview :

As an Assistant Director you would be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service for prospective and current students and parents at One River School. The ability to communicate well with staff members, students, clients and community partners is a key skill in this role. Our successful Assistant Directors have exceptional organizational skills to implement our ambitious plans for growing our programs. Our working environment is varied and fast paced and we expect our employees to take initiative and to be proactive in their approach to their jobs. Your goals will be set by the company, but you will have a lot of latitude in how you go about reaching those goals. Your competitive nature will drive you to exceed targets and find ways to grow awareness of our programs in your community. You will inspire a small team of full-time and part-time staff and nurture and develop them to reach their full potential.

We have developed a system that blends a fun interactive social dynamic, with an innovative method that focuses on contemporary art education which is highly appealing to a wide variety of students. The Associate Director works closely with members and students to ensure great experiences that grow and retain members

Position Highlights :

Build Community : Drive member retention, develop relationships with with parents / students

Community Outreach : Marketing, networking and following up on all leads. Organize community events. Develop relationships with the business community. Design materials. Generate reports

Community Space : Curate, promote and execute professional and community exhibitions in the gallery and cultivate local art collectors. Ensure the building is well maintained and well equipped

Team Development : Manage a small dedicated team of full and part-time staff ensuring they maximize their potential

Benefits :

Competitive salaries. Depending on experience you can expect the starting salary to be between $50,000 and $60,000 plus commission and bonus.
