What are the responsibilities and job description for the Westport, CT - Studio Art Teachers Evenings and Weekends position at One River School of Art and Design?
Would you like to earn some extra money and create WOW moments for our engaged and motivated teenage art students? We are currently recruiting for experienced Art Teachers to start work as soon as possible. You'll teach a wide variety of mediums to students and need to have experience teaching art in a classroom setting.
Depending on your experience you can earn between $25 and $35 per hour. We need people who are experienced at teaching teenagers and adult students (some of whom may have developmental disabilities)
Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 1 years of experience teaching studio art
- BFA or BS Art Education (MFA or Master in Art Education a huge plus)
- A fun, engaging teaching style
- Thoughtful communication skills
- A passion for One River School's mission
- Must live within easy commutable distance from our school in Westport, CT
