Security Professional

ONE Security Company (OSC) is conducting immediate interviews to fill an open, 30-hr per week Security Professional position at a location in North Bend, Oregon. This position is eligible for full-time benefits.

JOB SUMMARY:

· Watches for suspicious and irregular behavior at sites, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.

· Provide Superior Customer Service; A “People Person”, enthusiastic and friendly

· Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront violators, as required, until police arrive.

· Completes digital standardized reports.

· Conducts periodic foot patrols in and around the site.

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.

· Basic knowledge of computers.

· Ability to walk and climb stairs.

· Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.

· Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.

· Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.

· Ability to complete detailed reports and submit them in a timely manner.

· Ability to apply common sense and provided training while safely handling emergency situations.

· Knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid (Training Provided if needed)

· Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.

· Skills in operating portable radio devices and phones.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

· Free from felony convictions.

· Must be customer service oriented, friendly, a “people person”.

· The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail.

· Must embody company values as a highly visible representative of the company, peers and client. Must set and maintain high standards for themselves and others.
