Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations in shipping and receiving processes.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and lift trucks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track product movements.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while operating equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance.
- Experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order picking.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems for efficient operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to material handling equipment.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
