Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and enhancing employee engagement. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in managing employee relations, talent management, and HR systems.
Duties
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee talent management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Provide guidance on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures.
- Utilize HR software systems such as Workday, SAP, and Salesforce for efficient HR management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recruitment purposes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support contract management processes related to employment agreements and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with department managers to address employee concerns and improve workplace relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including FMLA and workers' compensation.
- Familiarity with HR software platforms such as Workday, SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with talent management strategies and employee engagement initiatives is highly desirable.
