Production Trainer – Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr
Location: Georgetown, TX
Schedule: Day shift | 10-12 hour shifts | Weekends as needed
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Production Trainer to guide and support production workers on our team. You’ll play a key role in helping new hires feel confident and experienced team members improve their skills, all while ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
What You’ll Do
Train & Mentor:
- Conduct orientation and hands-on “buddy” training for new team members.
- Teach operators the skills they need to excel in their roles.
Support Production Success:
- Monitor production quality and efficiency to ensure top results.
- Keep workers motivated and ensure everyone stays on schedule.
- Help resolve issues quickly, like quality defects or production delays.
Team Coordination:
- Organize break times and shift transitions for production staff.
- Support line operations when needed, such as setting up equipment.
Maintain High Standards:
- Ensure safety guidelines and good manufacturing practices are followed.
- Keep work areas clean and free of hazards.
Track & Report Progress:
- Monitor team performance, production rates, and scrap metrics.
- Complete training records and equipment paperwork.
Build a Better Team:
- Continuously develop and implement new training plans to improve team performance.
- Provide feedback to supervisors to enhance production outcomes.
What You Bring
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous training or leadership experience.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- A positive leadership mindset with great communication skills.
Physical Ability:
- Stand for 8-12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform regular bending or squatting.
- Work in a temperature-varying production environment.
Bonus: Bilingual skills in Spanish are required for this role.
