Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Process incoming and outgoing inventory shipments efficiently.
- Utilize data visualization tools to analyze inventory trends and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the retail management team to ensure stock levels meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
- Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers for optimal inventory acquisition.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory handling and storage practices.
- Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and effectively as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis related to inventory costs, pricing strategies, and profitability.
Skills
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques to interpret inventory data effectively.
- Experience with materials handling equipment, including forklifts, is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
- Knowledge of retail management processes and stock control methodologies.
- Ability to analyze financial data related to inventory performance, pricing, and costs.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Must know how to use SAP .
