Traffic Control Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our Traffic Management Department as well as assist in other roles concerning safety and fleet operations on construction sites and other work zones. This position requires a strong understanding of construction site operations, traffic management and the ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively with employees, clients, and the public.

Duties

• Supervise multiple crews simultaneously
• Monitor safety
• Coordinate with contractors for scheduling and crews for dispatching
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations and protocols at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site conditions and traffic patterns.
• knowledge of OSHA, SHA and DOT standards

Skills and Requirements

• DOT certification and large truck experience
• Supervisory Experience
• Strong understanding of construction site dynamics and traffic control measures.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and the public.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operations.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland Traffic Control Standards
• Dependability and Reliability a must
• the ability to work full days without interruption or other obligations
• Clear driving record and driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
