What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Document Process Server position at One Stop Legal Center?
Qualifications :
Must Be Certified Process Server (Certified and Bonded)
Must have your own reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license and insurance.
Tech savvy - iPhone / iPad or Android smart device and ability to work within a mobile app.
Ability to scan and print documents.
Ability to work variable hours - Early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Experience in process serving or related work is helpful, but not required.
This is a Remote or work from home Job. Candidates can be anywhere in the state of California.
Responsibilities :
Be pleasant and personable with the people you meet and to whom you deliver documents.
Serve legal documents to residences and corporations according to Federal, State and Local laws.
File and record legal documents at the courthouse, recorder's office and / or sheriff's office.
Scan completed documents weekly.
Provide status and photos for each attempt on all cases through smart phone apps.
Edit / print proof of service from our process server case management software.
Request copies of legal documents from court.
