Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our finance department. This role is integral to maintaining the seamless and productive management of our organization's operations. The responsibilities include overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, which encompasses invoicing, collecting payments, and reconciling accounts. Qualifications:
- Experience in performing billing and accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software.
- Experience with Apple Computer Systems (Pages, Numbers) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, precise, and efficient.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
- References are required upon interview.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in data entry for various financial transactions.
- Support the accounts payable process, including timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Assist in invoicing clients and ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Support and assist the accounting and customer service teams in requested tasks.
- Assist in managing office supplies and uniforms inventory.
- Comply with all security policies regarding the confidentiality of financial information.
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Qualified individuals must be capable of performing the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to remain at a keyboard for periods of up to two hours with minimal interruption. Ability to operate under stressful working conditions in a rapidly changing work environment with multiple priorities is required. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
