COMMERCIAL POOL REPAIR TECHNICIAN (ORLANDO, FL)

As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial swimming pool equipment. We are hiring for the Orlando resort area and neighboring regions (Orange Lake, Osceola, Polk, Hillsborough). Candidates with experience in commercial or industrial settings will be considered, and specific knowledge in various areas is preferred.

Job Overview:

As a Repairs Technician at One Stop Pool Pros Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of commercial pool systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various pool equipment and components. Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Diagnosis and Repair:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify issues with pool equipment and systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of malfunctioning components, including pumps, filters, heaters, and control systems.
• Work with electrical systems (120v / 240v, 3 phase, low voltage, and control circuits).
• Conduct PVC repair and plumbing work, up to 10 inches.
• Replace and diagnose electrical motors, VFDs, and motor soft starters.
• Perform gas boiler and gas heater diagnosis, repair, and installation.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Regularly inspect and maintain pool equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct leak detection.

Troubleshooting:

• Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot pool equipment issues on-site.
• Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Understand and operate chemical automation and saline systems.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide detailed reports on the status of pool equipment and any recommended repairs or upgrades.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain repair processes.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction through efficient and effective repairs.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing repairs and maintenance.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pool equipment repair technician or in a similar role within the commercial pool industry.
• Technical certification or equivalent experience in pool equipment repair, CPO.
• Strong understanding of commercial pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and control systems.
• Knowledge of pool construction methods and pool chemistry is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
