One Stop Ski & Cycle is hiring full-time Ski Boot Fitter and General Sales Associate! Be part of a fun
team that sets the standard in our ski industry in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We're looking for an expert fitter, who specializes in complex foot requirements, is a great problem solver, and works in a fast-paced environment while providing customers with the best ski boots and footwear that they can ski comfortably in and love.
Job Responsibilities:
Determine guest needs and provide exceptional bootfitting services, including:
● Comprehensive Foot Analysis, including arch, foot width, pressure points, and previous injuries.
● Boot selection, including brand, model, and features to recommend the appropriate boot to customers' needs.
● Utilization of specialized fitting tools and processes to customize boots, including heat molding shells & liners, adjustments, and modifications.
● Analysis and development of footbeds, including drop-in, semi-custom, and fully-custom orthotic devices.
● Customer consultation, including detailed analysis' of selection techniques, fitting processes, and equipment care.
● Remain current on ski industry brands, products, and trends to share knowledge with guests.
● Training and mentorship, including sharing best practices and expertise with other teammates ensuring high standards of fitting practices within the team.
● Adhere to safety procedures regarding the use of tools and equipment.
● Strong communication and attention to detail.
● Passion for biking in the summer, including city, electric, and mountain biking.
● Passion for river tubing in the summer.
● Experience in ski and snowboard service (i.e Edging, Waxing, Base Repair, & Mounting.)
● Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Experience in ski boot fitting, and everyday footwear.
● Experience working in a ski or footwear shop.
● Knowledge of foot and lower leg anatomy and biomechanics.
● Masterfit University Training preferred.
● Pedorthist Certification preferred.

Must be available weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays. With morning and
evening shifts, you can easily ski, snowboard, or bike 3-5 days/week!
Must be at least 21 years old, reliable, hard-working, have a good driving record, and enjoy
working with other fun, driven people, as well as being a part of an incredible team.
