The Mechanical Estimator will play a crucial role in the success of our pre-construction team at One Tech Engineering. As a seasoned professional, you will bring your expertise to accurately estimate the costs of various mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead the preparation of estimates, including gathering data, conducting research, and creating detailed proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to enhance estimating capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of direct project mechanical estimating experience.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Software experience with Quotesoft, Accubid, Oracle, and PowerBI preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, think creatively, and make quick decisions.
