Job Description
As a Cost Management Specialist, you will be responsible for leading project controls processes and consulting with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 7 years direct project controls experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages project schedules and budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Validates the accuracy of cost management and forecast reporting.
- Interfaces with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs.
- Supports external audits by providing accurate financial information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, and 7 years of direct project controls experience.
- Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating, and document control is required.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and OSHA 10-hour safety certification or ability to obtain.
