Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. Supporting individuals in participating in community activities, social events, recreational outings, and educational programs to promote community integration and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or assist clients with mobility limitations
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems for recording client information
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient health and behavior, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and laundry.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation as needed, while fostering independence and dignity.
