Ready to Make an Impact? One Vision is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This full-time position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software to support the financial operations of our organization.
Essential Job Functions:
• Ensures prompt, customer-driven, and cost-effective service.
• Maintains accurate billing records, staying current on outstanding accounts, managing daily deposits and receipts efficiently.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities including, but not limited to reconciliation and balancing of accounts.
• Responsible for the management and oversight of funds for Social Security Beneficiaries.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Exhibits excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Diligence and accuracy to complete the required paperwork and maintain records.
• Collaborates well with various teams in the organization.
• Comprehensive written and verbal communication required for completing documentation and complete role responsibilities.
• Able to support and respond to individuals' and staff needs, while remaining compliant with Company (and governmental) requirements and processes.
• Complete required paperwork on time; ensure staff submit paperwork and receipts for purchases timely and accurately.
• Exhibits, at minimum, moderate computer skills including internet and Microsoft programs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess a 2-year degree in accounting, business, or related.
OR 2 years related accounting experience.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 Products.
