In addition to keeping the pool and spa clean, you'll be responsible for maintaining excellent customer relationships with pool-goers. Yes, you'll be the hero everyone needs- whether they're residents of Glen Oaks or receiving One Vision services, they'll look to you for their daily splash of joy. You'll also keep the waters safe and ensure the area and locker rooms are tidy.
Plus, you'll get to perform pool testing and record results. General housekeeping duties will also be part of your day-after all, a clean pool is a happy pool!
And, here's the best part : Once you earn your lifeguard certification, you'll be looking at $14.50 / hour. Just think, you could be living the dream : saving lives, keeping the peace, and swimming in warm water all while making money! It's the job you never knew you needed.
Qualifications :
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate sound swimming skills. To qualify for the lifeguard certification you must be able to perform the following :
Swim 300 yards using freestyle and breaststroke without stopping.
Schedule :
Part-time days are 6 am-10 am and occasional Saturdays 1-5 pm, including birthday parties and lessons.
