We are currently looking for an Audio-Visual Event Production Manager to join our team
One Way Event Productions is a fast-growing, full-service event production company based in NYC. We partner with top-tier clients to create seamless, memorable, and technically flawless live, hybrid, and virtual experiences. From corporate conferences and galas to brand activations and venue tours, we specialize in bringing a hospitality mindset to every event.

As Production Manager, you will oversee the successful planning and execution of events from pre-production through post. You’ll serve as the bridge between our internal team, vendors, clients, and on-site crews to ensure every detail is dialed in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end event production, managing timelines, budgets, logistics, and crew
- Coordinate AV, lighting, staging, labor, equipment, and transportation
- Advance shows by working closely with clients to gather technical and logistical needs
- Manage vendor relationships, on-site load-ins/outs, and quality control
- Hire, schedule, and manage freelance technicians and on-site labor
- Create run-of-shows, floor plans, production schedules, and call sheets
- Problem-solve in real time and keep a cool head when unexpected challenges arise
- Maintain high standards of service, client communication, and professionalism at every touchpoint

- You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- 3–5 years of production or technical management experience in live events
- Strong working knowledge of AV, lighting, and staging equipment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience managing crews and client-facing relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Tech-savvy with Google Workspace, project management tools, and CAD/floor plan software
- Calm under pressure and proactive in high-stress situations
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends as needed
- A genuine passion for events and hospitality
- CAD/Vectorworks/Sketchup software knowledge
- Live-streaming or hybrid production experience
- Familiarity with NYC venues and vendor network
