Towing Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate proficiency in operating various machinery and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Operate and maintain a commercial vehicle.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs on equipment as needed.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot issues vehicles.
• Manage conflicts effectively within the team to maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of production goals.
• Document operational processes and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Experience in conflict management, demonstrating effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications such as a DOT certification will be require.

Pay: $18.84 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
