One Way Wireless Construction is seeking crew members for our civil department. The ideal candidate will have a basic construction background. The General Construction Laborer position is located in Shakopee, Minnesota. This position reports directly to the Construction Project Manager to execute the projects in accordance with corporate policy.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operating equipment (Skid steer, Mini X, Trencher, etc.)
• Install infrastructure (Roads, Conduit, Foundations, Concrete, etc.)
• Site removal operations (Snow, Trees, Dirt)
• Restoration (Landscaping, Hydroseeding, sod)
• Travel with crew (company vehicle provided) to job locations. Out of state and over night travel required
• Ability to follow instructions
  
  

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass drug test
• Must pass Pre-employment physical
• Must be OSHA 10 Certified
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Knowledge and use of hand tools required
• 2 years experience in similar fields
• Must have the ability to operate construction equipment
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Work long days are not uncommon
• Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of 50 pounds or more
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers
• Frequently required to use hand and power tools
  
  

Travel Requirements

• 80% travel required in Midwest area.
• Overnight required as needed.
• Overtime, per diem, and paid drive time when traveling.
• $150 per diem day when traveling is required.
