Position Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring there are always clean dishes, utensils, trays, and ramekins by either loading the dishwashing machines or washing specific items by hand. They move quickly bussing tables, picking up garbage, and emptying bins and garbage cans. This role is responsible for following the Kitchen Commandments in alignment with the One Well culture and providing a great food experience.
Essential Functions
- Motivated to work in the hospitality industry.
- Load and unload washing machines; Check washing machines operation and report any issues to the Kitchen Manager or GM timely.
- Wash specific items by hand – wooden boards, large pots, ramekins, etc.
- Store clean dishes, silverware, and cooking equipment appropriately.
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, ramekins, and utensils, especially during peak periods.
- Collect used kitchenware from the dining and kitchen areas.
- Bus dirty tables and take back to kitchen; pick up trash on the floors.
- When out in the pub, greet all customers with a smile. Be engaging helping make the customers feel like a part of the One Well family.
- Check the bar bus tubs and garbage frequently.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
- Good verbal communication skills, especially working under high stress.
- Able to take direction and guidance; follow directions, but prioritize tasks independently.
- Able to build relationships with not only kitchen staff, but also FOH and customers.
- Assist with cleaning functions during down time by staying busy.
- Works safely to ensure the wellbeing of co-workers and customers.
- Operates under the highest ethical standards.
- Plans ahead to ensure commitments are met, and arrive to work on time for all shifts or meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prefer previous experience as a dishwasher preferred, but willing to train people with the right work ethic and attitude.

- Able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in a kitchen and hospitality environment. The conditions can be noisy, crowded and highly physical. You may be asked to participate in events sponsored or managed by One Well at other locations.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
