Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Transportation Operations Manager located in East Liberty, OH. The role involves overseeing the transportation operations team of dispatch and approximately 90 drivers, managing customer relationships, providing excellent customer service to optimize supply chain management on a daily basis, and monitoring and reporting on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.

Roles and Responsibilities
The following roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process Monitoring and Resource requirements, while balancing the budget requirements with production requirements
- Development of departmental Business Plan strategies to meet corporate short and long term goals
- Develop quarterly review of business plan activities and results
- Coordinate activities between Divisions, customer and support groups to meet plans
- Enhance KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics to monitor business to assure SQCDME targets are achieved
- Negotiations of yearly cost with Customer(s) and developing new business opportunities and objectives
- Development of Labor, Equipment and operating requirements
- Ongoing review of business needs based on operational changes and customer’s business requirements
- Development of weekly, monthly presentations, as required, to executive staff regarding assigned departments
- Conduct Customer Visits / Meetings (Honda Monthly, Suppliers Quarterly)
- Prepares, monitors, thoroughly investigates variances and reports for the budget(s)
- Ensures cost management and control, pursuing Cost Down / Cost Avoidance initiatives
Salary : $77,000 - $85,000
