Description : Job Summary :
The Accounting Controller will lead the One X (the “Company”) financial reporting and accounting function and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. A strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance is required. As the Accounting Controller, will oversee accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and provide strategic guidance to support the Company's financial health and growth.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Oversees the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assistance with the annual budget.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, and other ad-hoc reporting.
- Advises business units on and assists with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, and assist payroll and treasury processing.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
- Assist the CFO with completing the external audit process, in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline accounting operations and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Required Skills / Abilities :
Education and Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) a plus.
