Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understands and follows all HR, HSE and Quality Management Policies.
- Attends and engages in all OJT led by a Supervisor, and any other available training that is required to perform job successfully.
- Assists in all facets of preparation as directed and as specific to Frac/Drillout operations.
- Keeps working area and facility in an organized and neat condition.
- Available to work times necessary to complete required work.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Requires operation of heavy equipment.
- Requires employee to stand for up to 100% of the time.
- Requires employees to climb ladders or stairs to inspect and receive equipment.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50-80 lbs.
- High noise environment (>85dbA) will occur with ear protection.
- This position requires working in outdoor Shop environment consisting of wet, and/or humid conditions as well as extreme heat and extreme cold.
- Requires employees to climb heights of at least 10 feet moving and maintaining self in different positions—stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and small spaces.
- Must wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, hard hats, face shields, hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Skills and Abilities
- Read and interpret schematics for assembly, and reassembly as required including completion of applicable quality documentation in either paper or electronic form.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision, executing work based on established expectations.
- Ability to follow proper protocol for incident reporting and emergency situations.
- Ability to understand and follow protocol with Stop Work Authority
- Ability to identify top priorities in a high-volume multitask work environment and the ability to determine critical few and know when to communicate issues and escalate them for decision-making.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Able to withstand the mental and physical stress brought in by the element of an outdoor work environment.
- Monitor customer automated inventory management systems; receive orders from customers; maintain delivery schedule for keep-full customers.
- Use the dispatch optimization system and software to create, update and dispense the daily route dispatch of well testing and Frac Stack deliveries.
- Analyze daily product delivery requirements for operations; prepare and assign driver work schedules, while maximizing equipment utilization; route deliveries to minimize delays caused by customer requirements and issues, traffic congestion and/or access restrictions.
- Provide an excellent service experience for customers: investigate and take necessary action to quickly resolve customer service issues and inventory and equipment discrepancy complaints.
- Ensure delivery of equipment within scheduled timeframe as instructed by customer to PAD.
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, supervisors, and co-workers, providing concise instruction or information.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Help to plan and execute rig up and rig down including leading the operation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a dispatching role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent customer conflict resolution abilities
- Able to manage heavy volume of phone calls
- Frac Stack and well testing dispatch experience preferred
- Must have a flexible schedule, and be able to work nights and weekends
- Professional appearance, demeanor and telephone etiquette
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and operate proactively.
- Ability to make sound business judgments and decisions and meet assigned deadlines.
- Hazardous materials training
- DOT regulations for truck/Driver operations experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and function effectively under pressure and time constraints
- Truck and fuel dispatch experience
Training Requirements
- PEC/SafeLand.
- Smith Driving Instruction.
- Forklift.
- Arial Lift.
- Fall Protection.
- Additional training to be assigned as needed.
